PowerSync Swift SDK in Open Alpha

We are excited to announce the open alpha release of our Swift SDK

The PowerSync Swift SDK currently is an extension of the PowerSync Kotlin Multiplatform SDK, and uses the API tool SKIE and KMMBridge to generate and publish a Swift SDK. More details about this configuration can be found in our blog here.

This configuration allowed us to get feedback from users and validate the idea of a native Swift SDK quickly. Based on this feedback, we've decided to build the SDK in native Swift as we work towards V1.

This alpha release can now be used by engineers to validate whether PowerSync is a good fit for their project.

Demo App

We recommend the Supabase Todo List Demo app as a starting point to using the Swift SDK. See the README for instructions to run it.

SDK Reference

The Swift SDK reference is available here.
