Changelog

v0.0.74 - 2026-09-29

  • [ADDED] You can now generate a client schema and a backend connector for the Rust SDK on the Client SDK Setup page and in the Connect drawer.

  • [IMPROVED] Generated backend connectors now include a complete uploadData() for every SDK, so you can copy it as a starting point. Before, some were empty or incomplete. The function uploads one transaction at a time. It completes the transaction on a 2xx or 4xx response, and throws on a 5xx response or a network error so that the SDK retries.

  • [IMPROVED] The Projects page shows a loading placeholder while your projects load.

  • [FIXED] After you reconnected or opened another tab, the Dashboard sometimes showed "We couldn't sync this project's instances", even when it had your instance data.

v0.0.73 - 2026-09-09

  • [ADDED] You can now view compact logs and migration logs on the Logs page. Migration logs cover the migration job that runs during a deploy, so you can find out why a deploy failed.

  • [ADDED] [SQL Server] You can now set a CA certificate and an optional TLS server name for your SQL Server connection.

  • [IMPROVED] The Deploy History and Sync Config Status cards now show which Sync Config version each deploy used. A running deploy shows how long it has been running.

  • [IMPROVED] New projects and instances now appear as soon as they have synced. Before, the Dashboard waited for a fixed time and could show a new project or instance as missing.

  • [FIXED] The Dashboard rejected Postgres and MongoDB connection URIs without a username. You can now paste a URI without a username or a database name.

  • [FIXED] When you signed out in one tab, your other open tabs stayed signed in. Signing out now signs you out of all tabs.

v0.0.72 - 2026-08-26

  • [ADDED] If you leave the Health page before you finish setting up your instance, a button in the navigation takes you back to your next setup step.

  • [FIXED] The Dashboard sometimes incorrectly showed "Instance is deprovisioned" while recent changes to the instance were still syncing.

  • [FIXED] After you created a personal access token, the token was too wide and stretched the page.

  • [FIXED] The "Draft Changes Not Deployed" dialog appeared even when you had not edited your Sync Config.

v0.0.71 - 2026-08-20

  • [ADDED] For a new instance, the Health page now shows onboarding tiles that guide you through each setup step, such as connecting your source database and setting up your client.

  • [ADDED] You can now see advanced configuration that is set on your instance in the Advanced Configuration card on the instance settings page. Secrets are masked. Only PowerSync staff can change these values.

  • [ADDED] [SQL Server] The connection editor now shows whether your connection trusts self-signed certificates. You cannot change this setting in the Dashboard.

  • [FIXED] If your session had expired, opening the Dashboard sometimes failed with API Error: 401 until you reloaded the page. The Dashboard now refreshes your session first.

  • [FIXED] A project link that you opened directly, for example from a bookmark, sometimes never finished loading.

  • [FIXED] The "Refreshing Session..." screen sometimes appeared and reloaded the page while you used the Dashboard.

v0.0.70 - 2026-08-03

  • [ADDED] On the Team and Enterprise plans, you can now create custom roles to control what each member can do. You choose the permissions and can limit a role to specific projects and instances. Manage custom roles in the Roles tab of the Team page. See Roles and Permissions.

  • [IMPROVED] On a paid plan, you can now find our support contact details under "Get Support" in the help menu. The help menu also has a "Give Feedback" item, where you can submit ideas on our roadmap.

  • [IMPROVED] The Team page now shows more clearly which members have joined and which invitations are still open.

  • [IMPROVED] Charts now show data sizes in KB, MB, or GB depending on the value, so large numbers are easier to read.

  • [IMPROVED] The log viewer now shows each field of nested log metadata as a separate pill, so it is easier to read.

  • [FIXED] If your plan no longer included Private Endpoints, you could not remove the Private Endpoint from your database connection, and deploys failed without an error.

  • [FIXED] If you lost access to the organization linked to your user profile, the Dashboard got stuck in a redirect loop.

  • [FIXED] Long chart labels on the Y-axis were cut off.

  • [FIXED] Disabled buttons in the Sync Stream editor showed no tooltip, so you could not see why they were disabled.

  • [FIXED] If you had two organizations open in different tabs, the instance list in the first tab became empty.

  • [FIXED] If your role could read logs but not the organization's plan, you could only search logs from the last day.

  • [FIXED] CLI commands that the Dashboard shows still included --project-id, which the CLI no longer needs.
